Newt Gingrich for President is absolutely who we should support

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

America, Conservatives and Republicans. We must support Newt Gingrich. He is a man of many accomplishments who gave us Welfare Reform, A Balanced Budget, and Reduced Taxes. Further, he brought us a Republican Majority when we were lost in the desert and the GOP establishment said it couldn't be done. Newt is the only candidate who thinks of big ideas, studies the challenges in achieving very difficult goals and then through, his leadership, explains how we are going to do it and then marshals them into eventuality. Newt helped us achieve the above through his plan known as the Contract...

Americans’ Incomes Have Dropped 6.7 Percent During the ‘Recovery’

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

New evidence suggests there’s a reason why this economic “recovery” hasn’t felt much like a recovery. Figures from the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey, compiled by Sentier Research, show that the “recovery” has actually been harder on most Americans than the recession from which they’ve allegedly been recovering. According to Sentier’s report, the median American household income has actually fallen during the “recovery.”  Not only that, but it has fallen even more than it did during the recession. Gordon Green, former chief of the Governments Division at the U.S. Census Bureau and co-author of the report (with fellow Census veteran John Coder), says,...

Seoul project design criticized for evoking Twin Towers disaster

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

REPORTING FROM SEOUL -– Even at first glance, the design renderings for the soon-to-be-built pair of apartment towers here pack a wallop: They evoke New York’s World Trade Center towers in mid-explosion in the terrifying moments after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. But wait. The Dutch designers say the images have nothing to do with debris flying off two towers that have just been rammed by a pair of commercial airliners. It’s more like a dreamy cloud formation inspired by a gaze up at the sky. Netizens aren’t buying the explanation. In recent days, an international frenzy of criticism...

All of the candidates except Gingrich, Romney and Paul should drop out before Iowa

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

The Newt Surge is official. Over the last week, Gingrich’s Intrade odds of winning the nomination rose from 16% to 39%. Romney has faded a little but still leads with 47% odds. No one else is above 5% odds. The polls are even more stunning. Rasmussen shows Gingrich leading 38%-17% in a national poll. Real Clear Politics lists polls with Gingrich leading Romney by 15-30 points in Florida, South Carolina and Iowa, and trailing Romney by only 10 points in New Hampshire. In the general election match-up, Rasmussen has Gingrich leading Obama by 2% and Romney trailing Obama by 6%....

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

Infuriated lower Manhattan residents went ballistic on Zuccotti Park protesters at a chaotic Community Board 1 meeting tonight while blasting politicians for allowing the siege to continue without any end in sight. A lot of people are concerned about the safety of our kids." Fed up homeowners said that they've been subjected to insults and harassment as they trek to their jobs each morning. examples needed of the 'rat hypocrisy and presstitutes calling failure 'the new normal'.

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

When we had 4.6 unemployment , Nancy Pelosi decried the "worst economy since Herbert Hoover". What is it now at 9.2? The best thing since sliced bread? Nothing like lowering expectations to make failure look acceptable. While we're at it, maybe we should be celebrating record numbers on foods stamps as 'economic stimulus' and achievement of "Great Society' ideals.

Will Dems''New Normal' Kill The American Dream?

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

There's a burgeoning theme in Washington these days. Although not publicly stated before the cameras, the power brokers whisper it among themselves. But before too long — perhaps in the next six months as the presidential campaign heats up — we'll all recognize it when we hear it. It's called the "new normal." This odious phrase characterizes a growing belief among politicians, economists and pundits that the United States is entering its twilight years of economic prosperity. Gone are the days of 4% unemployment. Gone too are the days of 4% to 5% annual GDP growth. And with them will...

New Black Panther Malik Shabazz: Obama Evoked Tenets of Black Liberation Theology in Selma

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

Today, Andrew Breitbart published some photographs of an event in March 2007 where Senator and candidate Barack Obama shared a stage with Malik Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party. It was not, as the mainstream media wants to believe, a mere coincidence. Certainly not to Malik Shabazz himself. It may be difficult to appreciate now, but at the time of that event, Senator Obama was still considered a long shot for the White House. Hillary Clinton was still ahead in the polls, and had already secured endorsements from civil rights icons like Rep. John Lewis (D-GA). Meanwhile, Obama’s support...

US Patrols New York on 9/11 Like IDF in Palestinian Authority

Police man roadblocks with machine-guns and sniffer dogs. Drivers are questioned. Data bases are searched for suspects in potential terrorist attacks. The scene is not the IDF in the Palestinian Authority. It Is New York City on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 Al Qaeda attacks. Ground Zero was turned into a “frozen zone” Sunday prior to anniversary ceremonies that will be attended by President Barack Obama. Concrete barriers, similar to those separating some areas in Judea and Samaria from the rest of Israel, block cars from approaching the area. Bomb sniffing dogs late Saturday night patrolled Pennsylvania Station and...

New Jersey School District Yanks Lesbian Sex Book From Required Summer Reading List

We were just trying to get students to read.”

New IRS rules require PayPal to report sales information

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

Due to new IRS rules, PayPal has started asking users to provide their tax ID number, which is either your Social Security number, Individual Tax Identification Number or your Employer Identification Number. PayPal says it will use your tax ID number to send tax Form 1099-K to you and the IRS when the payments you receive exceed both of these milestones in a calendar year: $20,000 in gross payment volume for goods and services 200 payments So for most occasional PayPal users, this change won’t be applicable, but you’ll still need to enter your tax ID just in case. New York Times's WashingtonCorrespondent Calls RickPerry 'Horrifying'

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

Apparently, there was a kerfuffle earlier today because Rick Perry said the following: "If this guy [Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke] prints more money between now and the election ... I don’t know what y’all would do to him in Iowa, but we -- we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas. Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous -- or treasonous in my opinion.” Now the very existence of the Federal Reserve is not without controversy, and the Fed's policy as of late has drawn some strong

New Low: Obama’s Job Approval Rating Sinks Below 40% For First Time

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

President Barack Obama’s job approval rating sunk below 40 percent for the first time, according to Gallup’s daily tracking poll. Data posted Sunday showed just 39 percent of Americans said they approve of Obama’s performance as president, while 54 percent said they disapprove. His approval ratings have been in the 40 percent range for much of the year, ticking up to the low 50s in May when Osama bin Laden was killed. At two and a half years into his presidency, Obama‘s approval ratings are lower than former President Bill Clinton’s were in August 1995. Former President George W. Bush’s...

New vs Old Recorder Features

Posted by admin! / Under New York Yankees

I have a low-cost JVC HM50, a Flip HD Video Ultra, and a DXG-125 High Definition Digital Camcorders. All serve their intended purpose well considering their relatively low cost. I also have a Sony DCR-TRV-608 Hi8 Tape Recorder and an even older Panasonic PV-420 VHS Tape Recorder. The Panasonic is the reason for my post. I wanted to call upon the wide range of FreeRepublic members because searching the Internet hasn’t been entirely successful. The VHS Panasonic has two features, Time lapse and High Speed Shutter Recording, I want in a Digital Camcorder. The “Time Lapse Recording” is the more...
